The company
FOOTWAYS was founded in 2009 by two scientists: Dr Igor Dubus, who conceived and coordinated the European funded research project FOOTPRINT (2006-2009), and Dr Stefan Reichenberger, an experienced scientist in the field of environmental risk assessment for pesticides.
The company provides its clients with innovative software solutions allowing them to assess the risk of pesticides being transferred to and impacting on water resources and to help them identify ways to reduce risks where identified. The FOOTWAYS tools serve both the agricultural and environmental sectors.
The FOOTWAYS team combines the expertise of international scientists specialised in pesticide risk assessments, agricultural advisers and IT professionals specialised in High Performance Computing.
The company is operational across all 27 EU Member States and beyond.
